So we have 2 treestands and we are trying to find a good place ment for both. I'll be in one and my dad in the other. We have 50 acres, a river that goes through it all, a 50ft deep gorge, and a large corn field.I heard that the best place would be on the edge of the corn field on the tree line. Would any of these other land features areas be good also? This is my 1st year out so I'm trying to get some expert advice.

    Thanks

First step in stand placement, atleast for me anyway, is a topo map. I like mapper.acme.com
Its satelite views zoom in a lot further then say google maps does. Is there an easy and obvious crossing spot on that river?

I didn't have a chance to get back on here to see what you guys had posted before I did some scouting this weekend. I found a nice spot right in front of an active path in the gorge, right next to a small branch off of the river. I hope to have some results in the next few days hunting there, and if not I'll post some topos and get maybe a better spot for you guys. But thank you guys anyway.
