    It feels like it has been an eternity!!! 5 more sleeps until I am in a tree stand, :woot:and the rest of WNYorkers .... I must say I haven't seen that many deer fall this year like last year before we started here ....

    Sound off NYers .... are you beyond ready? :nana:

    Are there any other states that have had to wait this long? :mad:

    I was in Diks a few months or so ago and I said to this guy in the archery section, "It sure would be nice to be able to start October 1st" ... his response ... "They don't move that earlier, so it wouldn't matter anyway" ... I just walked away ... some people don't have a clue .....

    After hunting PA for so many years starting early October, it's like some cruel sort of torture to now be forced to wait till 10/15. I've got it bad this year, I think my absence from all things target archery made me really appreciate the hunting aspect much more.

    I have 5 sleeps starting today! I cannot wait! Due to an unfortunate turn of events, involving my trailcam and 8' of rising water. I had to abandom an area I hoped to hunt. So im going out scouting today! Talk about last minute!!! I pulled a muscle in my shoulder around my rotator cuff so I've had past 3 days off of work. But Praise God its been healing fast and i'll be able to hunt on monday *cough* I mean work...yeah work on monday.
