I am planning on buying a new bow at the end of the season. Do not really have a price limit just want a quit smooth shooting bow. I have a martin now but it is about ten years old. have heard some good things about the Hoyts was wondering if yall had an opinions.

    Thanks Josiah

I shot Matthews, Hoyt, Bowtech, and a PSE and like the Bear line of Bows better than the rest just my .02, The Bear Attack is the smoothest and Quietest out of the Bunch

so many good choices out there.....best bet is to try them all and see which one feels the best in your hands....either way, try the crx32 and the z7x....can't go wrong with either....

Shoot every bow you can. Think of it as an investment. You're not going to buy stock in the first company you see.

That said, the Mathews z7 xtreme was what I went with and have not had 1 second of buyers remorse. In fact, I would without a doubt buy it again.

I agree about the z7 extreme. Just a wonderful piece of equipment; I have never had any regrets and like more purchase more and more as time goes on.

Shoot as many bows as you can and let the bow pick you. In the spring I took 2 days and shot 17 different bows. I did not care what the brand was so much. I shot Hoyt, PSE, Bowtech, Diamond, Simms, Mission and Mathews It came down to 2 bows, Mathews Z7 Xtreme and a Mathews DR2. Got the Z7 Xtreme (in Tactical), I hunt a lot from blinds and it was a little shorter and fits me great. Some I knew the first shot it was not for me, others I had to go back to a couple of times. Good luck.

I dont think it matters what bow you chose as long as it fits you and youre comfortable with it.

Like several have said alright just go out and shoot every bow that you possibly can. Can't go wrong with any of the bows mentioned already.

Quiet and smooth = Elite Hunter. I'm not saying go buy this bow but you really do owe it to yourself to check it out. The Z7Xtreme I tried yesterday nearly tore my arm off in comparison.

Each manufacturer has a bow in their line-up that is tailored to the quiet/smooth crowd. Be sure to shoot each one that you can to see which one fits you best.

I know i'm the odd one out by not shooting a hoyt, mathews, bear, martin, mission, etc. But i strongly suggest at least taking a look at the Winchester Quicksilvers. extremely quiet and smooth and its super fast. i love mine, and think they're at least worth a look.

See, everyone will tell you to buy the bow they have because it's the best...

Like I said in the single / dual cam post, get some criteria and shoot all the ones that fall in it. The right bow will pick you.

If you like the way your martin feels i would try the onza 3 or the silencer. I shoot the silencer its a great bow. But in the end shot alot of different bows and buy whatever feels best for you
