Been about 80 every day here in oklahoma and there hasn't been much moving at all. Luckily the big boys are starting to move through at night so that's a sign the ruts getting closer :nana: . Just need a good cold spell!

How's the movement going for you?

Heat + mosquitoes + no deer, I'm probably taking a bit of a break until some cooler weather decides to move through

Ive seen lots of deer on the cut corn the last 3 evening hunts, maybe 100+deer, and half or more have been bucks), its been great here even in the heat and battling the skeeters, saw 3 good fights last Friday evening with 2 mature bucks really getting after it. Decent movement the last morning hunt this past Sat hunting an oak flat, had 3 bucks come by us with several Does and fawns feeding through the oaks. Movement seems to be pretty good even when the moon phase calender for feeding activity says its not a good hunting day.

Ive also seen a bunch of small bucks dead on the roads the past week.

It's been in the 80's here in southeast OK. Been out 5 times and only seen coyotes. Little cool front is coming through now. Hopefully I'll see some deer in the morning.

I saw 6 bucks opening day last weekend And 1 buck the next day and have only seen 1 deer since a for before shooting light.. Getting a bit frustrated but it's hard to leave the property with all these rubs and scrapes so I'm stuck in a pickle..

Very similar here, not much moving right now in the daylight. Between the warm temps and the normal "october lull" where their patterns change it has been very slow to say the least.

Here in Central Oklahoma its not to bad, pretty good compared to years past. Out in Northwest Oklahoma they are moving really good. Seen 150+ opening weekend and uncle said it was the same last weekend when not raining. But these deer have zero pressure, so I think that makes the biggest difference.

In KY we have had warm days and a big moon at night. Plenty of night pics on the oak flats. During the youth hunt this past weekend the only movement was about 5 minutes before pitch dark. The only shooter buck that was seen entered the clearing after legal shooting time.

Been pretty slow in central MN. The heat seems to be just killing their daytime movement. full moon with clear skies at night didnt help me much at all either. This following weekend is supposed to cool down, but its also pheasant opener and i'm itching to get out in the swamps!

I haven't seen anything hunting ... course our season hasn't opened up yet ;)

Seriously tho, the deer are in the pasture behind my house every night still ... about an hour before sun down ... try a different location ... they are somewhere ...

I've been having one of my best years ever for deer in bow range... Can't explain it.. I'm hunting alot of the same stands as last year... just seeing good movement right now.... Who knows if it will last.
