While the Red Sox collapsed terribly, and the Yankees made it to another postseason appearance (I will admit they're better). To say I wasn't smiling about this win would be a lie:D

If A rod stays hot they should be good next year.

For the sake of his contract, let's hope so:D

It will be interesting to see what happens to Sabathia. I think he will stay, but who knows.

The Yankees bats are there, that's for sure.

LOL, A-Rod is the worst last man at bat in playoff series history. I hope the Tigers see him again.

2010 Last at bat Strike out
2011 last at bat Strike out

First player in history to have the last at bats in playoff series be strike outs.

Not that i'm specifically blaming a rod for the loss. BUT he gets paid his contract for THAT specific at bat. Nothing else for the other 162 games matters what he does. That's where the Yankees want him to make his money. Epic fail.... time after time.

Oh well at least I won't have to be tired for morning hunts staying up late watching baseball games. Thanks for that A rod.

Reminds me of Romo a little bit

Yankees losing makes me smile as well Matt, and I don't have a dog in it. (O's fan) BUT, seeing these Yank fans around here cry makes me laugh.

For years, this is how I justified the Tigers and Lions sucking. I figured I didn't have to stay up late, or worry about missing a Sunday evening hunt. This year is the opposite.

Still not enough to miss hunts over, but now I have to kept checking my phone for the score.

If the Phillies loose tonight, they and Red Sox and Yankees will all be out. Then all the big TV stations like ESPN and MLB Network are gonna panic.

Your Rangers have to get through Verlander, one hefty task if you ask me.

Leyland has the horses, so the team will be very tough to beat. Leyland won that series with the yankees by out managing girardi in the last game. girardi lost that game, not a-rod.
