Advice about swacker broadheads

    do you guys try to line up the blades with your vanes? does it matter or not or do you just make sure they are screwed on tight? Thanks for any info

    I don't think you should worry about lining the blades with the vanes, but you should always practice with what you will be hunting with.

    Lining the blades to the fletchings is unnecessary. When someone talks about "broadhead alignment" they are talking about aligning the centerline of the broadhead to the centerline of the arrow shaft so that it is on straight (not pointing off to one side). This is critical for good arrow flight. To do this you can screw the head on tight and slowly spin it on it's tip. If it bobbles then you either need to screw on another head and try again, or re-square the insert/arrow shaft face with an arrow squaring device (or lathe), or in the case of hot-melt glued inserts you can heat the insert and turn it 1/4 turn and try again.
