Well put a doe down last night. First deer I have killed out of my double bull blind. Will post on score page sometime today.
Got my deer posted on the score card. Heading out tomorrow or Wedesday on the quest for the big one now. Got meat in the freezer, now time for big rack.
Congrats!! Our opening day is saturday the 1st. Hopefully I get a chance to at least see something. The public land I hunt can sometimes be pretty crowded. I went out and sat in my stand Friday morning for a few hours just to see if anything was moving my way. Got a picture of a small buck with my cell phone. Hopefully that is good news for my stand placement. We will see.

Yeah Chris that guy is a hoss and looks young! We're starting up Saturday. It may be slow as the 10 pointer I've been seeing hasn't been around for a while. However, I've been having another, new, buck show up on my cams, but only briefly way in the back of a picture and I can't tell if he's big, or new for that matter. I am getting some decent doe activity so that is always huge plus on the buck market.
If I get a shot on him I'm taking it. This is only my second year bow hunting so he'd be a great first deer/ Buck. Especially for New England. Sent from my Droid using Tapatalk
Once again it's raining here in Wisconsin and wind advisory this afternoon. Going out in the a.m. to try and whack a couple of turkey's. Good luck too you guy's that get to start hunting on Saturday.
