Don't worry about sitting in the same stand were you shot you buck. If you have'nt been in it for a few days they won't be the wiser that you are there.
Points for the board or not I would luv to see pics of you with 1 of the bucks that you saw that day.

OK, back from my morning in the blind and even though I did not get a shot off I did see where all the deer are mainly moving

2 Things did happen this morning.....
1) I did have 2 fawns within 15 yards without them even knowing I was there. At first my heart was pumpin' when I saw the
first fawn cause I was certain that her mom was following....no such luck.
2) I finished getting dressed and headed into the woods and disturbed 3 deer laying down, 2 doe and a buck. The buck was awesome!! He got up did a massive strut and ground pounding with his legs around where the does were and then started
wheezin' and gruntin' away like I was another male in his territory. Man my heart was gonna fall out of my chest, It was so
cool to witness this!! ( just glad he did not finish the rest of his parade with a charge at me)

I have been seeing a few small bucks, no shooters yet. But I am dead after them

Are you guys ready for your season to open this weekend?
I am going out to shoot again today for my final tune up and sight in. then it's time to start getting all of my stuff ready for Saturday.
I just hope this nice cool wet weather sticks around for the weekend

 

Alright guys I measured the spikes from my deer for a total of 63 3/8". I went out the other day to the same spot and didn't see a thing. Not gonna be able to get out this week but Monday night I should be able to. Good luck guys!
