Got some bone on the board. Saw some monsters after shooting this last night. Gonna go after a big 10-point later this week.
thank you sir and again congrats. dont worry about the bucks you saw after you shot your spike. I mean as far as "If I just waited a few more minutes". He is gonna be your best memory for along time to come and you should be proud of that
also please dont forget to measure him and put him on the offical score thread for us. I will keep all of us updated on or total score eachtime week put one on the board
top of the screen by your sign in name click on the tab "settings" then on the settings screen on the left click on edit avatar. you'll have to copy the pic from here to your compouter first
Just to let everyone know I probably won't be getting out much over the next couple of weeks. But don't worry... Once late October rolls around I'll be in full on tree stand mode.
ok guys I'm gettin close here I have 9 more days till my season opens. How is everyone else doing? I have tried to get in touch with rampaige to add his buck to the score board but i have'nt heard back from him. Just don't for get first buck has to be entered 2 pics with your deer with you and your bow
here is a copy of the offical rules about your deer harvest. I am reposting it here for all of us. there is a member of another team that did not follow these rules and is complaining that he has it on video. But it's not a full video of the hunt. so I do not want our team to have any problems like this. 3. All entries must be accompanied by a minimum of TWO (2) photos of the hunter with the deer and your archery equipment in the picture. If you can manage to take one picture, you can also manage to move 4 feet to the side and take another one. It's not that hard. There will be NO exceptions to this rule this year. Two photos with hunter, deer, and bow in photo or it won't count. I was lenient with this last year. If you submit a deer without two photos, it will not count. Consider this your warning. This goes for both does as well as bucks. 3a. If you harvest the deer on film and can provide footage of you shooting the animal along with post-recovery footage including hunting, animal, and bow, that will suffice in place of two photos. Footage must be posted online for everyone to see. 4. Along with your photo (or video) you must post the date and time in which the deer was shot as well.
Well I have to wait until tomorrow morning to get started here in Ohio. Good luck to all hope we all at least have a good season.
Sorry for the score posting delay. I've been at work since Wednesday morning and haven't even been home yet and I can't post pictures from my phone. I also forgot to measure the antlers so I have to wait until I get them back to measure them. I'll get everything up as soon as I can.
I'll be out on Monday. My spot will be determined by the wind though, obviously. Chances are I won't be able to hunt my spot where I saw all those bucks.
My First deer season hunt.....EVER..... Okay Team, I have done all the prep work I believe I need to do and tomorrow morning will be my first time in the blind for deer season (my first deer season ever). I did a little recon of the place were I got permission and there are a few places that look good. I will set up my blind about 20-30 yards just off of a path were they jump the fence. I am so excited I don't think I will be able to sleep. My groupings are good about 1 inch or less for 20 and 30 yard shots and 2 inches or less for a 40 yard shot but I won't pass 30 yards mark as I feel most comfortable with the 20-30 range. I feel like I am waiting for Christmas morning to open my Super Nintendo!!! (I always found the hiding spots)
