Friday I saw a great non typicle on my place. A deer I have no record of for sure. Got me jacked! Youth season opened her this weekend and was taking my daughter on her first hunt! We were covered up by deer. Saw one that was a great 8 pt by anyones standards. Oct.1 will not get here soon enough!

Season opens this weekend for me.. Though I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it out much - have different things going on both days... Plus trying to build up some good will for later in the season when the deer should really be moving...

Less than 48 hrs till opener. Looking like might be little wet opening day. Have a good weekend Team 16 and hopefully be able to add something to team score on Monday.

Hello gents! First off, congrats to Suburban on the does! Way to get us on the board early. I was out of pocket last week chasing elk in Colorado (no luck there) but I'm officially back in IL and ready for whitetail duty. Less than 2 days until the opener and I'm ready to let some arrows fly. Let's do this.
Texas/ Ohio Going back to Ohio for the Second year. Ill be hunting on the county line of Knock and Coschoton county. I am from Houston TX, I hope to also bring home a monster from South Texas as well. lets go get'em.. Season starts this weekend in Texas.
Saw one possible shooter down here in md so far. Besides that, just a spike and a few does. I can't remember the last time I arrowed a doe early in the season. I always wait till later on, or take them with my flinter. Headin up to pa on friday ngt to hunt until tuesday so ill keep you posted. I'm also headed out to kansas on a solo mission for about 17 days in november for a diy hunt in units 7/8. So far the plan is to set up shop around wilson or glenn elder, but all scouting has been done via google earth so that may change when boots hit the ground. If anyone has any feedback, feel free to shoot me a pm.
