Hey guys, Its pumper 317 checking in here. I was missed on the list, and am a late add on. Can't wait for the season to start. Live in MN, but have hunted ND already this year with no luck. Going back in october, so we will see what happens. Have some good bucks on camera in Northern MN, but they have avoided me for a week or so now, so time to find them with hard horns. Good luck to all, and let this be a season team 8 doesn't forget!
went and checked trail cam tonight and saw two bucks out of velvet. when i pulled the card i have velvet pics and hard horned pics of them on there. also got a pic of a decent 9 point, think ill give my wife the green light on that buck. he probably would score high 130's, low 140's. i might shoot him but really want a shot at the 200 point club!
Looks good Danny, unfortunately I'm about to lose a bet and will have to have a Gator logo in my avatar. I'll put it in my signature though.
We are on the board! Took down a doe tonight. Waiting to get the pictures from my buddy. Beautiful opening day here in WI. It was upper 30s in the morning and only reached a high of 58. Bring on the bucks.
Congrats dude! I've been close twice on public land since we opened, but the slickheads have been just out of range. I have a feeling it's going to be a good season!
My little guy took a doe with his .243, it was his first rifle harvest. He's already taken two p&Y bucks when he was 9 and 11 he's 12 now. I'm a pretty proud dad, he took his first doe at 8 with his bow so he's on his way!
I hunted in ND yesterday and only saw a few does. I checked my trail camera and it did get shots of some bucks....the one in the first pick is definately on my hit list I will be hitting ND a couple more times this Fall...most of my time will be spent on property in MN.
How is Team 8 Doing? Saw we are on the board! Awesome news. I had an uneventful weekend in the woods due to a wedding, but my buddy shot his first deer, a doe on Saturday. Heading back up Oct 1 weekend to try again. Bucks left the area where my camera was, but have a good idea where they went Good luck guys. Keep them hittin' dirt!
