Depends on the motivation to shoot more....

a bunch of my buddies get together with me on the weekend and we stick $20 bills on 50,60, & 70 yard targets. First to hit the bill wins the cash. Talk about focus on your form!

Try it sometime with your buddies...not does it make practicing more fun, it will get your heart pumping when someone sticks a 50 down there..lol

I don't even have bow yet. (still at the shop). I have to walk to the target and stick the arrows in by hand. But then again i use ninja throwing stars to kill my deer.

I have been shooting a lot of 3-d lately that serves as good practice, but I do notice once I am drawing to the end of a 20 target course and shooting 3-5 arrows @ each target I get tired and less focused. It is the 1 shot that makes a difference and you typically don't get those practice shots in every time you head to the stand. If you can hit that first arrow dead on every time you shoot, you are good to go. I shoot 3d once or twice a week, and it is great for shooting many different distances. If you only have a 20 yard opportunity from your stands than practice that 20 yard shoot. No need to waste the time on 30 if it is never going to apply to your season. Good Luck this season and straight shootin!

I shoot 9 arrows when practicing, 3 study- then pull those, then 3 study- pull, then 3- study pull. I know that I will only shoot 9 so I concentrate hard on form and the suprise release. As the season nears I shoot one arrow a day. I leave that arrow in the target all day. Every time I go by that target I'm looking at that arrow. Thinking of what I can do tomorrow to improve the placement.
