I have the chuck adams edition and like it. For $199 the chuck adams has the angle technology. However, i've found that it's not really necessary. I hunt in a tree at the top of a hill and my best shot is too the bottom of the hill and by the time you stretch it out 30 yards, there's almost no compensation to be made.
If you're looking at spending a lot of money, leupold has one that the reticle is lit red, it's pretty awesome.

I have the Scout 1000 w/arc... Unless you hunt out West where shooting down in a canyon is necessary you won't use the ARC much.. HOWEVER.. I recommend the Scout 1000 anyway... It is an excellent rangefinder and there is nothing wrong with going top of the line... I really like the gun/bow feature also... :tu: :tu:

Have the Leupold 1000. LOVE IT!! Way over kill for bow, but have gone out west with the guns too and came in handy out there. Also have a 3 yr old Leupold 750. both have the Gun vs Bow, Angle Comp, etc. My son uses one, I use the other.

the ARC is only relevant at 400+ yds. for bow hunters its a waste of $$$

You obviously dont have one or have used one. It has saved me a couple times when I first got it 3 years ago to test out. The exact range to target was around 45 yards but because of the angle I shot like it was 35 yards. 10 yards on the wrong pin is definitely a miss on my setup. I live in Missouri and the Bushnell Arc 1000 helps me tremendously. The only gripes I have with it, it does not light up and I wish the Arc range was swapped with the real range when in bow mode. I finally replaced the battery at the beginning of last year. If they had one that lit up in this price range I would get it.

I have it and really like it because I use it for bow and gun hunting. works great for sighting in your weapons and in the field. If you buy it from the cabelas or bass pro shop you get a couple free items as well.
