    Thanks Brett,

That much I got. How many deer can you enter per person? I ask because in southern WI. we have a cwd zone I hunt in. I can shoot as many does I want in this season.
I hope to do some hunting in northern wi. also. Any pointers are welcome...

You can enter one doe and one buck. Does are 50 points and bucks are their gross score. BUT, you have to enter the first buck you kill if you kill more than one buck. Take two pictures with you, your bow and the deer you killed in the picture. That is really it. I would suggest taking 3-4 different pics with each deer just in case something happens.

Thanks Rutin! I tried to set the team in motion so lets keep rollin!

    Welcome to the team!

Heading out again at first light. Feeling pretty confident. Then it's after elk in the afternoon!

Burglar, when might you hunt in Northern WI? I have a cabin between Spooner & Hayward that I rifle hunt at.

Welcome to the Team !!! Virginashadow, congrats on an early kill. Double as good with the trad gear:nana:. Troy good luck on the ole guy, must be starting to rake the rak now though huh! Taking of the velvet, lol. Summer has finally gotten here. To be in the high 20's all week so I guess I can still take my sweet a-- time getting ready for my opener. Will be floating the river this weekend with the wife. Maybe I should bring my bow along too, just in case I run into one on one of the 100's of Islands along the river. That would be cool eh!! Wouldn't go over with the Lady of the house though, LMAO. Keep nocking them down guys. I'm a great cheer leader:rock: FOR THE TIME BEING!!! I will contribute.

Getting ready to head out, really hoping to pull something together this morning. These dry conditions are making stalking tough, however, may have to give up and hunt from a tree:cry:

Hopefully will have a text for ya guys soon!

Brett! Right on Brother! Very cool, love it!

I myself hunted my butt off this past long weekend... handful of does and young bucks by the stands I set in. I let yet another cow elk have the free pass. Man it was hot out here.

Troy, keep at it buddy! Only takes 30 seconds for the whole thing to unfold

Just got back in, stalked to within 30 yards of four different deer. One buck was too small (100") two does that never offered a shot and one fawn. While eating a snack I had a black bear come up to ten feet! Seeing more and more bear in this spot, may buy a tag.

My buddy I hunt with has family in Antigo. We have not discussed when we might try up there. He likes to go after October when the leaves are off the trees. Any suggestions would be great.

    Thanks much,

Rode our bikes in tonight 4 miles to hunt elk. Great county and loaded with tracks. Hunt was cut short by guys on motorcycles...behind a gated road and on an unmaintained area. Gotta love it. They almost run us over on a TRAIL then ride by us again once we are back at our camp. We promptly loaded everything and left.

Called our poaching and trespassing hotline, game warden isn't dressed and decides not to pursue them. Not a happy person right now.

Too mentally and physically wore out to hunt elk tomorrow. Sitting in a new deer stand, need to release some stress on a poor unsuspecting doe.

    Good luck fellas

That stinks BC. Nothing worse than those that don't abide by the laws. I see that crap a lot up here too. Kill a big old doe! Good luck!

Nice job virginiashadow, put Team 28 on the boards first. Good to see some guys are finally hunting, woop woooop.

Sat in one of the tower stands last night, 2 deer out early and that was it. Had the father-in-law worried. First time being out for both of us. Been really busy with the wedding preperations.
