Good call Ryan. I haven't checked out other team's threads yet. Honestly, I dont really have any good team names, I'll come up with some though. As far as avitars go, I'm not the person to talk to, I have no ability in making one of those.
Eric, I found a place in the county next to Newton that is an archery only state wildlife refuge. Maybe we can meet up on day and go. I'll send you the name of it. I'm off the entire week leading up to firearms season.
What's up Team 26! SteelCity checking in. I hunt a flood plains area (public) here that always holds good bucks, so hopefully i can contribute. Good Luck to the team this season(s).
Looks like we are only 3 shy from everyone checking in. I am blank on team names so anyone else can start posting any thoughts you come up with.
I'm pretty much at a blank too. I'll try and come up with something on my way home from work. ... Booner bangers? but that could be taken WAY the wrong way.
Welcome! Ok guys, any thoughts on names? Honestly, I'm blank. It doesn't need to be hunting related either.
I'm currently a biology student in my last year of school. As far as having targets picked out, I think my main target is going to be a buck that I saw many times last year that I know survived. If he has normal growth this year he should be pushing the 160 mark. We always have nice deer that we aren't aware of show up as well, so we'll just have to see what happens.
Dmen, thanks for getting the ball rolling on names. How about "blood spillers"? Brandon, that's my approach this season. Hopefully I make it to a few small public lands that have some good ones, but I can't be too certain. I have a deer that stays on my property, he's a 9 pointer this year but still too small yet. Another year or two. it's a gamble that the neighbors don't take him, but I'm willing to take it.
Here's some ideas: Rack Stackers Ungulate Eradicators Droptine Destroyers Freezer Fillers Whitetail Warriors I could come up with some more, but they get a little ridiculous.
Oh, and I finally might have a target. Bumped a 150-160 incher tonight out on a family farm. However, it's all farmland, so I'm going to have to figure something out. Either way, pretty pumped about it.
