Bear09 signing in. Hey team. My name is Craig and I'm from Illinois. I will be doing most of my hunting on public land in east central Illinois. I've been putting in a lot of time scouting and hunting a few areas over the last two years. I dropped a beautiful 10 pointer during the first week of November last season. I did spot two bucks later in the season (Jan) that made that 10 look small. I believe I will be taking a few does here and there while working to drop one of those bad boys. I also plan on a few private land hunts in fulton and bureau county at some point during the season...both areas produce some nice deer. I'm ready to get this party started. I am born and raised in Adams County, IL which is part of the "golden triangle" I have been fortunate enough in my life that I've always had private land to hunt. I do the majority of my hunting in Adams County. I now live in McLean county and do quite a bit of hunting here. I definitely love to shoot does and fill the freezer. I shot a decent 10 point (that is my profile pic) last year and I am looking forward to shooting another decent buck this year! I actually leave tomorrow morning to head to northern minnesota to go black bear hunting for the first time! I will be using my bow as well as trying to film it so hopefully I come back with some decent footage!
