I have 3 PSE's right now, 2 martins and some knock off. I just sold a Hoyt, it was a nice bow. For me, PSE shoots the best and the customer service is second to none.
Hoyt since they make their own limbs then Browning. 3rd I would go with the current Diamond Iceman that I shoot. Honorary mention goes out to PSE since I have shot my brothers a couple of times.
Surprisingly didn't see a lot of Bear or PSE posts. I haven't read much on the Elite bows nor have I ever had any experience with them. The Hoyt and Mathews were very close to me, but I went with Hoyt mainly because of the look. I think the Mathews Z7 shot a tad bit better than the Hoyt Rampage XT and felt better.
1. Elite....have you seen their transferrable warranty and replacement while on your hunt warranty....would have been nice to have that after I purchased my buddy's lightly used Switchback 4 years ago which cracked a limb while on a week-long out-of-state hunt. At least I had a camera to secure my memories. 2. Hoyt..I have only shot 3 Hoyt's but each of them were dead in the hand, extremely quiet and fast. Will consider one when I bow shop again someday. Would have purchased the Maxxis 35 last year, but the salesman at GAT Guns was such a *&@$ that I decided not to purchase a Hoyt at all!! 3. Tie--Mathews (yes even with the Switchback issue listed above) because of what they have provided technology-wise to the archery market. Bowtech even with their lead engineer leaving years ago they still are delivering some nice products!
I keep going back and forth between Mathews and Bowtech (blasphemy, I know), but honestly there are so many good manufacturers out there if any one of them were to give me a free bow I'd shoot it.
Not necessarily in order or even still in business LOL!..... Mathews Browning Ross All have made (or still make) good quality bows.
Hoyt Hoyt And Diamond only cuz my kids shoot it and it rocks for the little ones! Sent from my T8788 using Board Express
