This involves no skill only lucky guessing. K12, Deer_Predator and myself will be going to a charity fundraiser Bowfishing Tournament tomorrow. The tournament will be on the Ohio River and starts out of Evansville, IN. The format is numbers and big ten. Bighead and silver carp only. Guess how many carp our team will shoot. (Right now I'm calling us Team Aleve) The bighead carp can be 50lbs in this area but an average fish is much closer to 20lbs. We will weigh our heaviest 10. (hopefully we 10 to weigh) We will also keep track of the total number that we shoot. We have no idea what the numbers might be like. We may have trouble bringing in 10 fish or we may shoot 100. Who knows?? Be aware that none of us has ever shot on the Ohio River. We have a few leads on where to go... but we are completely clueless otherwise. But hey, we are up for a challenge. So, I'll send a BH.com hat or shirt to whoever is closest to the actual weight that we bring in for our big ten and a hat or shirt to the person who is closest to the total numbers. If you don't want the hat or shirt, I'll donate it, but guess anyways. :D Weigh in is at 7am on Sunday.
113 fish and 167 lbs If it's anything like it is around here there are thousands and thousands of small silvers in the creeks and shallows. The water just moves in waves every time I hit the troller. But most are 12-15 inches long.
Do I get to guess???? ... Well let's see.. I am being optimistic and bringing the big tarp to line the bed of the truck so we can off load from the boat to the truck so we don't sink from the weight... I am gonna guess 190 with the big 10 weight 327lbs!!!!!
