Just wrapped up filming of Treds bear hunt at my place, an awesome experiance. We used my hounds last season for a hunt and he was eager to try again this year. With a lot of work, a bit of luck and some good dog work, Tred killed a old boar during a lightening storm, mixed with rain and hail. Tred toughed it out that day braving the elements, coming close to hypothermia by the time we got home. Great crew to work with, a lot of fun to have around.
I am looking forward to our Canadian Lynx hunt in Febuary.

Thanks to Action Trackchair for supplying a chair for the hunt, Tred loved it.

I was never a huge fan before (though I do admit limited exposure)... but I DEFINITELY respect his desire and hudspa to continue making his dreams come true following his unfortunate incident.

    Congratulations, Ted!

Tred barta is the wierdest craziest sob on tv.
But I love his shows and I love his ethics.
I wish more people had the true love of the hunt like he does.

Tred is the man!! That guy defines the word passion. I think its great he uses traditional equipment and is not afraid to go home empty handed. "The Barta Way" !!!

I can't remember the last time I guided a fellow with more desire to hunt then Tred. Everytime the dogs struck on a scent he got right fired up.

    Love him here...

His core message about getting kids involved and not giving them "instant gratification" - but making them learn and earn it...couldn't agree more. He's a positive energy for sure...

Never knew him much before his ordeal. Watched a few episodes in the aftermath and wouldn't understand someone who wouldn't cheer for this guy. Congrats Tred.

Respect for sure. I have always loved Tred. He may be a little wierd but I have always like the things he stands for. It's sad to see him in that chair but good to see him still hunting!!!
