    Hey,
I'm looking at either paying the same for either an

09 martin cheetah with whisker biscuit, 3 pin, and the stabilizer.

Or a Bowtech Allegiance 06, with another drop away rest, and a full package.

I'm trying to hunt whitetails in south carolina and I'm really not sure which bow is going to be better for me.

Any help? Any personal feelings toward either bow?
    Thanks

I understand that Martin makes some good bows although I have no experience with them myself. I do have experience with the Bowtech Allegiance. I have two of them and will have at least one Allegiance in my possession until I can't draw back anymore.

If the Martin was a Bengal, i'd say ,Martin. but in this case, go with the Bowtech

Bowtech Allegiance or Parker Redhawk xp? I was offered to buy my neighbor's allegiance which is just sitting in his garage while he shoots his 82nd Airborne.

Allegiance by far. Note my signature. This is one bow that I will most likely never part with. Smooth, very fast and quiet.

IMO, as well as many others, it may be one of Bowtech's finest offerings ever.

Wow. I must say I'm not totally surprised, but maybe just a little. I personally have an '09 Cheetah and of everything I shot (Bowtech/Hoyt/Matthews etc) it was the bow that fit ME. I will shoot this bow until I die....lol. I love it.

    I guess I'm the minority here..lol

Thanks for the info. It is a 2008 Allegiance and he has installed new string on it every year. I had a feeling it was superior, however this is only my 2nd season bowhunting and I bought the Parker last year from Bass pro (31.5in DL limits brand availability) as a "beginners" bow to make sure I enjoyed bowhunting. When he offered to let me shoot it all season and buy it from him whenever I wanted, I was very interested in shooting it. I guess like others have said, I just need to keep shooting it to gain confidence before I make the switch.

The Allegiance by far, I shot a few bows since my Ally purchase, and still have my Ally, nothing has blown me away enough to part with it.
