    I am looking for a new camera for video taping my deer and turkey hunts. My price rang is $700 or less. I don't care if it is used or new. Any advice would be great

    Do you want HD or just regular video? If you want HD and that price range check out the handhelds on campbells and B & H

    i just saw one by wild game innovasion called vantage cam...im not sure what the price range and the quality of these cams but they can be mounted on your gun or bow which is neat

    I am thinking just a regular one for now being i am just starting out. I have been looking at the cannon gl2. I will be doing some filming myself so i would like somthing kinda small.

    I would save your money on the GL2 and buy a handheld HD... your only going back in time with the gl2. If you get a decent hd handheld you can shoot just as good of quality but make sure you check out the lux ratings for light. This way its light weight to carry in and will not require a big bulky treearm and other accessories. If your self filming make sure it has a lanc port though

    Using a lanc controller.... you can controll all feature of your camera with just your thumb, which is crucial in making very little movement and even more crucial when self filming
