Anyone have any suggestions for a new bow ?
This is what I'm looking for:
30" draw, gradual and smooth draw, 50# to 55#, brace height 7" or a little more.
Want a high let off in the range of 75% to 85% due to shoulder and rotator cuff issues.
Would like a bow with more arrow speed than what I currently have (est 230) but doesn't have to be a burner. Maybe nearer to 300(or is that unrealistic with above parameters?). I bowhunted 15 years ago and looking for a bow that would be forgiving of my bad shooting habits.
Any particular models of Hoyt, Bear, Bow Tech, PSE, Matthews fit this description?
Left over models from last year would be fine.

    Thanks

My spots bow is an Athens Exceed(37 ata)... 30" draw pulling 53 lbs and with a 402 gr arrow its pushing them @ roughly 275 fps. Draw is smooth, no rollover to the valley and with double limb stops the wall is solid! 80% let off

Go shoot as many bows as you can, new, used, whatever, and pick yourself one that you like. There are lots of bows to fit what you want.
