In the coming weeks I am going to pick up some newer Bushnell Trophy Cams. I am not to concerned about the 2011 model changes but would like the compact 2009 and 2010 model. If you have a couple you would like to sell, let me know.

    Thanks,
    Dave

I know you said that you were not worried about the 2011 models, but did you see the models from bushnell that have the black led's?

There are significant changes in the 2011 models compared to the 09 and 2010 models and if my memory serves me correctly the new models arent any bigger. I know im waiting.

I agree with leadoperator, I think I'd wait on the 2011 models to come out. You probably can't find any 09 models and the '10s def. had their issues.

I now run the Uway cameras, but have a few extra Scoutguards I still use, but would sell you if you're interested. They're great cameras, and I think even a little smaller than the Bushnell's. They run on 8AA, which I use rechargeable batteries for (they still last well over 1.5 months in average conditions). Here are some videos I've gotten from them. Better yet, these are the only ones I've posted on youtube. If I uploaded all the great videos of bucks we got with them this year, on our new farm, I'd be on the computer for a solid day. But this shows you their ability. Very similar to the bushnell, but I've heard a few bad things about bushnell, although I've never used em. Let me know if you're interested.

I'd sell them for $180 (I'll throw in the lockbox/security box and a 2GB sd card)
$170 each if you want 3 or more.

SC Shed, Are they the Scout Guard 560IR's?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/New-ScoutGuard-...711?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item33641c4a3f

Thanks for the heads up guys. The 2010's certainly had their fair share of problems. The 2009's were a beast and what I was basing my opionion on.

After checking some things out the Scout guard 560IR's and WGI IR6 has my attention.

If someone has some 2009 Bushnells, I would still entertain thoughts of buying your older model.

    Thanks,
    Dave

Nope, they're the SG550s. The original version. Like this one:

Except I'll include the lockbox/security box (which I find easier because I leave it lagbolted to a tree, so the camera never moves once you've got it set), and a 2GB sd card. I don't mind keeping them, because I use them with all the rechargeable AA's I bought with em, and they work great. But I wouldn't mind selling them either. I have 21 cameras right now, 12 Uways and 9 scoutguards. Although it's great scouting, it's an additional job which is killin me.

I'm pretty sure the 2010s are 5mp and the 2011 are 8mp. I got some really neat pics with my 2010 if you want me to post them for you to see the pic quality

I have had two trophy cams first one the sd card would not lock and the second one the seal leaked and filled with water. returned and got my money back.

I have two trail sentrys now one will not put the pics to the sd card and the other has a bad on off switch
both where x-mas gifts without any warranty or receipts

I just will no longer spend money to a company with failure rates like this.My time and money not to mention gas and batterys.

Same with moultrie. 2 dead d40's and a case of batterys
    same with 2 wgi s1.3
    same with 2 wildveiw

This is just my real experience paid for with hard earned cash:D
And i will admit it..... at least 2 guys will get a smile from this....post

    I should of bought a reconyx. I would have saved a few$$

Well I called bushnell and the Black LED cams are not suppose to come out til April. And the MSRP is $370. I think I will be sticking with the 2010 model with IR LED for $130

Tekel, I'm pretty sure the 2011 cams aren't that expensive. I've already seen them for sale and they were only $250.

Here are pics of all 3 different models.
