Well, my 2nd deer of the 2010 season is in the books. My drought was over with my antlerless a few weeks ago, but this guy puts an exclamation point on it I want to give ALL the glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ first I had a great morning .... y'all may have seen my post about foxes at 9:50 I look to my left and see a deer coming right where I expected them to ... it's a SLOB doe ... she comes right to my shooting lane broadside and I stop her with a "Meh" ... I shoot right over her back .. dejavu At the shot, I see a buck bound away @ about 50 yards .... more misery ... looked just like the guy I ended up getting ..... so I am cursing my name and calling myself bad words ... about 10 minutes later ..... Here comes a buck walking straight to me ... he keeps coming and coming and coming ...he stops on the trail and turns ....WHAMMO ..... 25 yards later he is down for good ... here he is ... So as I am texting everyone in the world , this guy walks within 5 feet of me .. turns and comes on the trail at 5 yards broadside ... I was on the ground .. it was fun watching him size me up .... lol and the glory shot
