I will text hunting buddies on occasion or use it to check the site. I am not able to log into bh.com from my iphone anymore though. I can get on the site just can't log in not sure what the problem is.

Love mine, I check the football scores or check weather etc.. waiting on the whitetails to move, especially in this early season. Probably wont have it out as much in poor/colder weather when the rut comes around.

Rarely. I prefer to chill, relax, and enjoy nature at those times. I'll have enough time w/ technologies when I get back.

I use these smartphone apps for hunting: HERE

I am trying Live broadcasts from my tree with my smartphone: HERE

And Doing all of my hunting video this year with a smartphone too.
I get unlimited everything (text,IM,calls etc)for 65$ month with verizon using only data(voip)...It isn't easy to set up though( the free calls) if you aren't familiar with a little more than placing calls.

My wife runs her laptop of her phone and so you could have free home internet if you use Pda net too...

Anyway good luck bow season starts here this Sat and all I can do is wait.!

I usually browse the internet, or play solitaire. I am glad that I have one though, because it definitely helps passing the time. Missed another shot at a buck last night though!

Having Latitude alone makes it worth it.

I have Latitude on my phone. My wife and friends can see my location real time while I am broadcasting. If I were to fall it would be discovered almost immediately( plus the fact that I am broadcasting). Once it is too dark and I end the broadcast and climb down the tree, my wife knows that if she doesn't see my icon moving from my stand on google maps, something is wrong.
I set the phone on and forget about it. It doesn't distract me at all. I usually don't play with it in the stand after it is mounted to my bow and broadcasting.
I was thinking of creating a page on my site that woudl allow any other hunters to embed their UStream live broadcast. It would be cool to have apage with a bunch of differne tlive hunts to watch all day where you could go from one to another and see what the hunter sees all over the world.
If anyone is intersted contact me at:

    Happy hunting!
