Welp, glad we got the teams all arranged now. I guess we'll start things out by having everyone check in and make sure everyone is still gonna be around for the contest. Someone is in trouble since we have Fletch on this team. He always drops a nice one. I've got a really nice 10 point wandering the property and a good 8 pointer too. Good luck to all and lets thrash some of the other teams this year!
Anybody seeing any decent bucks yet? The farmers are starting to shell some corn in my area so I hope they start showing up on my cams soon. So far all I have are a few pics of young bucks.
Fletch lives! lol You guys are killing me. So much pressure, I may take up knitting and sell all my huntin stuff. Actually, I just finished a 2 acre food plot (yesterday) on a new property I bought last year and just never had a chance to do anything with. I have gotten some good pics and will do my best to represent! Good luck all, lets put the smack-down on em.
I'll be hunting a place locally that has very little potential. I lost my other local place yesterday so I've got to start scouting my family land (local) this week. It's not much but I have seen deer out there before. I've also going to try and get down to my other family land (an hour south) and get set up, then head up to my place in Oklahoma and set up a new stand and fix up some old ones. BTW, I haven't been procrastinating, just really busy at work. I'll be really busy until mid-October
I'm not going to lie, I've been really busy working throughout the summer and now I'm back at school so I haven't had as much time as I'd like invested in scouting. I'm pretty much a sure thing for at least 50 points though, and I won't be shooting a buck unless I have one close to 125" come by. My season starts up on October 1st, and I'll be heading home to hunt every weekend that I can.
Things have been looking very good on my end. I have been seeing some of the best bucks in my hunting area than I have in the last couple years. I have spent a ton of time glassing and scouting over this past year. Trail cameras have been going great. I will be traveling between two states archery hunting, my home state of MI and OH. Our season in MI starts on Oct. 1 but plan on a doe in 3 weeks during our early doe season.
Hello Team 10, I'm hunting Va & NC this season so I can get started Sept 11 but really won't start hunting too hard until mid October or so. Been slacking a little this off season but I'm still ready to go. I'll check back in soon and if I get any good tc pics in the next few weeks I'll post em up. Good luck.
With Michigan, Iowa, Illinois, Texas, N. Carolina, and Virginia being represented, I do believe we can put a good amount of bone down. Good luck to all on Team Ten.
