Finally some bucks. These are from my S600 Homebrew. These next three I just liked because of the quality of the photos. Well, there you have it. Great pictures! Makes me anxious to check my first homebrew. Picture quality of these homebrews are amazing.
The homebrew has been the most trouble. It is fickle and I just haven't used it enough yet to be very proficient with it. I also had trouble with my new Bushnell Trophycam. It had to be sent back once but fortunately I had purchased from trailcampro and they took care of it right away. I also have a Stealthcam I-590 that had been a real workhorse early in the season, but now it seems to be acting up, but I think it is a battery issue. The only cam that has not given me problems is, you guessed it, the Reconyx. But I haven't had very many pictures from it because I've been trying it out in some new spots and they are just not panning out. Blessings.....Pastorjim
My dad and brother were thinking of going the IR Bushnel Trophy cam route. Good Idea or not? They both would love to have a Reconyx but It's a little too spendy for their blood.
Well, I wish I could give you a straight answer on that. The first batch of cams that were available to retailers had a run-away issue. They would just go on picture taking frenzys until the card was full, that's what my first one did. When I notified Trailcampro, they indicated to me that they had had several complaints about this problem. They replaced it in a very timely manner with no hassles whatsoever. The same problem was reported on the initial review by chasingame. I guess the next batch had a slower than advertized trigger time, although mine doesn't seem to have it. Some are also complaining about blurred IR pics. My new unit has performed well so I think I've got a good one. According to chasingame, the manufacturer is addressing each problem as they become aware of them. At this rate, they should have all the bugs worked out by the time the 2011s come out. great pics just a tip, if you dont have nothing between the camera and the deer you will see better contrast in the pics
Jim have you used any of your homebrew pics as a desktop background? I know if my trail cam had that quality of pics that I would be. Although it probably wouldn't help my excitement for hunting season to come.
