Anyone have an opinion on the HHA single pin sights. I haven't used one but it seems like it would be nice to have less stuff in the sight ring, but I am not sure about having to dial in the yardage before a shot.

Does anyone have experience with these?

I have one on each bow. I like it, not too busy, and don't have to look but at one pin when shooting at an animal.

Speed Trap, do you adjust for every shot? I have heard that some people just adjust the pin for 30 or 40 yards and then aim up or down depending on the range.

Couldn't be happier with mine. I leave mine on 25 yards for hunting. A little high at 20 and a little low at 30. Very well made sight and the company stands behind them. Top notch customer service.

The winner of the G2G 3D shoot has one on his bow if I remember correctly! Is that true ISiman4/OH?

I've been shooting HHA for the last couple of years and I couldn't be happier.

Depends on what your using it for. IMHO for whitetail hunting from a tree they are top notch. For out west, where you are, I would think they could be a huge hinderence. If my sight is set at 30 and a bull stops at fifty I don't want to guess the holdover.

I've never had an issue with confusing pins, my current set-up has been the easiest yet. 5 pins 20-green, 30-green, 40-yellow, 50- green, 60-green. It's an easy system for me to accquire my pins fast.

Yes that is true, and i love my HHA. Its simple and easy to adjust and allows for precise shooting at longer ranges.

    HHA

I always used multi pin sights until I got my Monster6. The pins ended up jamed on top of each other and blocked a lot of my sight picture. The single pin HHA works better for me. I set it on 25 yards and if there is no time to move it I can hold over. Most times if the shot is longer I have time to adjust the sight.

I personally prefer multiple pins for hunting because if I draw on a deer at 20 yards but cannot shoot right away and then he trots out to 35 I'd have to let down to adjust the sight. Now I'd have no problem with one on a target bow. Just my .02.

Thanks for the feedback everyone! Seems like most everyone likes them.

What pin size are you using?

.019. Keeps the halo effect to a minimum. They also have a rheostat so you cover some of the fiber on a bright day.

I just switched back to a single pin and I'm using another HHA. Same as what Mobow said.

    I like the simplicity.
