So, recently i decided to try and make my cams blend into there environment a little more. This prompted me to go the Ultimate Camo route. The tape looks GREAT, but when i applied it to my cameras...it didn't go on so well. It doesn't like corners very much. Either way, all three of my cams (Cuddeback, Moultrie, Stealth) got a new look...albeit probably only temporary at this point. My goal was to place all 3 cameras in possible strut zones in different areas, and find a spot to put my blind for some bowhunting on camera action. Heres a view of the Moultrie Zone: The camera up close: And from a distance: Here is a view of the Stealth Zone: Up close: And from a distance: And here is the Cuddeback Zone: Up close: All three areas are similar. All are on old logging roads, and located on ridge tops or next to a valley. Perfect places for Gobblers to be seen. Also, all are between 50 and 200 yards of roosting zones and in places known for strutting activity. They have been out a few days already, and i will be checking them Sunday night when i get back from my PA trout fishing trip.
siman08 you got great taste in hunting areas bubba that looks like a sweet spot now if we can get your taste in QB's right you'ld be a halfway decent fellar lol...i'm just kidding ya bubba i hope you kill the big one.nice looking trail cams too.
The Cuddeback was already out a few days longer then the others, so i checked it today, I failed with my goal, but am happy with the pictures, Someones looking for a meal:
And.........Jackpot! The Stealth Cam spot was a fail. Got some pics of a few hens and thats it. I moved it to one of my alfalfa fields. The Moultrie was moved to a new strut zone as well, and the Cuddeback is still in the same spot.
