Missing Woman Found Dead After Months Beneath Bed Omari Fleming 5:57 PM CDT, March 17, 2010 FAST FACTS: Missing woman found dead after months beneath motel bed Room was rented out several times while she was still in it Homicide detectives are looking at her boyfriend as a person of interest (Memphis 3/17/2010) February 10, 2010, Sony Millbrook would have celebrated her 29th birthday, but she never got the chance. The mother of five was found dead, two days ago, beneath the bed in her room at the Budget Lodge on Brooks. "It hurts really bad," whispered her brother TJ Shields. "I promise you I do the best I can to maintain." Millbrook was reported missing January 27th. Police say her body's been beneath the box spring, inside a metal frame since then. Hotel staff members reported the find to police Monday. Since Sony's been buried beneath the bed, the room has been cleaned on numerous occasions and rented out five times. Police say there was no complaint of smell, no problems, nothing. A motel manager told us, " no comment and referred us to police." On February 4th, we're told homicide detectives went to the motel to question several employees about Sony's disappearance. They never checked the room. "In hindsight should the investigator have gone in there and tore the room up? Sure," explained Deputy Chief Joe Scott. Police say LaKeith Moody, Sony's boyfriend and father to at least one of her five children is a person of interest in this case. Moody is being held on a gun charge and stayed with Sony at the motel after he recently got out of jail. "He never was seen after January 27th after she went missing. He was arrested in her car a couple weeks later, "explained Deputy Chief Joe Scott. Court records show an order of protection was filed against Moody back in 2008. It was later dismissed. Police and Sony's brother confirmed there was a history of violence. Though the investigation continues, Shields says there's no doubt in his mind who killed his sister. "He's very foul to do something like that," says Shields. "I'm quite sure he done it."
Damn. I found porn magazines under the bed since I heard it on Bob and Tom. Seems that was the norm for traveling salesmen etc... yes, I left them there.
