Always a few good buck in my hunting areas, just a matter of me running into them. I do try hard for doe the first few weeks of the season and all late season. Hope to bring in some points this year.

Well looks like hunting in the morning isn't happening. I have to be at the house at 8 for a fiber optic contractor...
It opened August 15th for antlered. It's been hot as anything. Suppose to be close to 101 degrees tomorrow too.
It will eventually cool off probably closer to November. It's mainly for the velvet hunt. And firearm actually opens on Sunday for private land. Public opens up September 15th for archery.
