Well that's fun!! I'll have to check mine this weekend. I don't think I bought any in '22 but you never know.

Always something, don’t know how fast the turn around time is on replacements. Seasons coming up quick. Mine aren’t of the bad batch luckily.

(The recalled ascenders were manufactured in July 2022 and are marked with batch 05A0722. "ROPE MAN 1" and the batch number are printed in white on the side of the product)

Should try one on a linesman belt. Best thing ever!

Love my Ropeman 1 on my linesman rope, easy to use... Ive had mine prior to 2022 so no problems ... there are however around 7000 of these being recalled ..

I know mine was before covid and I have to check but red not orange, not that I can use it any more. Just putting a training collar on Scout gives me fits. I can't imagine messing with rigging.

I use Kong Ducks because of the rope I'm using and I just like how it functions better. It happens from time to time with any of this gear. The climbing world seems to be VERY on top of things for obvious safety reasons so this kind of stuff gets noticed and rectified very quickly.

This is just a soft reminder to everyone to check your gear constantly.
