Hey guys. I have been out a few times in the neighborhood these past weeks. Took a decent doe that was about to blow at me. Just can't deal with them blowing up my spot. My neighbor sends me a pic yesterday of a 2.5 year old 8 pt walking right through his backyard at 8:30. Hunted on 11/5 at my lease and saw a doe at 5:03 pm. Father in law saw this guy at 30 yds but couldn't get a shot. I have two years of pics with him but nothing this year. He's at least 3.5 years old. I have off Friday so I'll be back at it Friday evening, Saturday, and Sunday.
Good luck to everyone getting out over the next 2 weeks. Get out every chance you get because it will be over before you know it.
Good. I took her to Dunhams before dinner and got her a new pair to winter slip on boots. Of course i needed some 308 shells and some deer dander. Then dinner at Red Lobster followed by watching IUs opener... Great evening all the way around. Got a good one camera finally, but he is broke up!
Good on you for treating the wife. Glad to see your finally getting some bigger buck pictures. It looks like a 3-year-old to me. It's encouraging to see him in daylight at that time also. When are you getting back out?
I'll be back out tomorrow morning hunting the spot I shot the big one a couple years ago. I'll be hunting almost everyday here on out at least one sit a day until gun comes in on the 18th

Heading out at 1pm to sit in a fence row hide i set up a couple days ago. Should have a good chance at seeing does. I'll take one if no buck is following. This will be my view. Corn is out now.

This year is really frustrating! I just can't seem to get on a big one. Had a small buck at 25 tonight 6pt maybe a forky, but I'm not wasting a bolt on them. I have yet to see a buck chasing a doe. Guess that means I gotta hunt harder next week.
