If you're not killing the yotes, and you've seen 3 groups, this either needs to become a yote hunt or move.

That would be enough to make me move, That much 'yote scent in the area will keep them away I'd think.

Great morning so far. My #2 target stepped out onto the edge of the field... but 80 yards away and wandered away across the field. I grunted at him but he was not interested.
I've seen 15 deer so far (6 non- shooters within range), mostly does, and little bucks. At about 8 a.m., I saw a random dog to my south running the edge of the field, and about 10 minutes later, that same #2 buck came charging through just beneath me. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get him stopped before he excited my shooting lane. I was drawn and ready to fire, but alas, no opportunity.
Another 7 hours to go and another 2-3 before I decide to stay here or go set up 150 yards to my north.

Blurry pick and smaller looking buck but there is daytime movement happening!

Just realized one of my cell cameras has been dead for 3 days… in a great rut spot too. DOH. Next year I’ll pony up the money for more solar panels.

I’m back up in the stand. I am going to move spots here in a couple hours close to the bean field. It’s warmed up and I have my favorite hunting shoes on. Image1698946239.681167.jpg

I am out. Missed a doe at 40+. I know it would be pure luck, but I am desperate at the moment!HaHa! Moved my stand closer to the primary trail I keep seeing deer use. Should be a chip shot if they continue using it. Back at it tomorrow if all goes according to plan! Good luck all!

I saw a bunch of does feeding in open fields today while out getting errands done around lunch time. I saw at least 10. Most in groups of 3 or less. No bucks with them.

I just got back from seeing grandsons, they arrested the school shooter threat. A guy I guess out of Wisconsin sent that out randomly across the country.
I'm having late lunch and going to a new first sit area in a little bit.

    Good luck guys

Zero fresh rut sign seen in my go to spots. I’m so beaten, battered, and sweaty, 3/4 of the way through day 1….lol. I set up in some white oaks that have already dropped. Fresh hoof prints in the leaves. Worth a shot I guess. Good luck yall

    Back in that stand

It was 29 when I started this morning.
    Now it says 43.

I doubt I'll need gloves or hand warmers. But I have them.

    Good luck all

All set up. Something has got to give for me soon. Hope it’s tonight. I’m tired of does and spike bucks !
