There is still hope for humanity. I was working on the foundation of the house this afternoon and evening. The 6 year old neighbor boy rides his bike into the yard to say hi. So, I stop to talk with him. He asks me why I work all the time. Every time he sees me, he says I am working on something. He said I need to stop working all the time and go have fun. He then said he is going to find out when they are going to the races and then come over an get me so I can go along too for fun. Also invited me to go to the lake with them when his Grandpa takes the pontoon to the lake.

He is a great kid and a talking machine. He is always curious on what I am working on and has a lot of questions. He made my day.

The look on my kids faces when we surprised them with our newest family member today.

You had me at this point.
So seldom nowadays to see a kid riding a bike. (Or even outside).

He has a 4 year old sister that likes collecting rocks. The one day I saw her picking rocks. I told her those looked like very cool rocks. She got a big grin on her face and said they were. I go in the house and come back out a half hour later. There are 3 pretty rocks placed on top of my front porch in a nice row. It is little things like that, that make you smile.

We are still in an extreme drought but Sunday's rain certainly helped. Think we got close to 2 inches of long drawn-out rains.

Dryer has been going bad for a while, wash machine isn't much better. I go online look at the stackables read the reviews and picked one. It will be delivered, installed, and hauled away, just takes $. So much better than going appliance shopping with the wife.

Pretty funny I brought the POS PC to the IT and said if you can save it, he said I can set you up with a newer one. Should have seen the look he gave me when I said no worries I bought a MAC save the old one and tomorrow set my MAC up to view company email. I am so happy to be back on Mac.

Fake news I am right at the SW corner of Morrison county, it rained Sunday afternoon and all night but we only got 7/10's and it is too late for many crops, perhaps some hay and alfalfa will be helped.
