    Both grandsons need surgery this summer. Oldest tonsils and sinus work and his brother ear. Starts this Friday.
    I personally realize these are considered minor.Age has taught me that nothing is always routine when going under.
    All the best wishes they can get will make grandma feel better

    Done, I had tonsils removed and tubes put in at the same time when I was 5. The nice part is that at that age, they won’t remember any of it or the recovery. I don’t remember anything.

    They are a bit older than that now. Youngest had ear tubes put in a couple of years ago it worked great.....but they never fell out and are causing issues now. The oldest will have a 2-3 week do very little recovery time from what surgeon says.

    Just found out the little guy needs to have the back of ear open and a skin craft taken Then the tube in ear drum cut away and the skin craft put in place over hole in ear drum. Geez Louise just a couple of weeks before he starts kindergarten.
