I think these are the guys who even brought a ladder to cross at the corner. And it's good to see this was escalated and heard by a federal judge...

good for hunter access .... however, they are still going after one of the 4 hunters who had a "Waypoint 6" on his Onx map, that way point supposedly is on the ranchers property. Just because there is a 'waypoint' dosnt mean he/they were on the place .... or were they ??

A singular way point on a mapping system is a complete stretch and no judge in America would convict a person for having a way point placed on private property. They wouldn't even allow a search warrant on a digital device based on that...go to court, plead the 5th and roll out. Then sue.

Even if they won't convict, it's a matter of principle. The ranch owner is a billionaire, and he will use his money to make life as inconvenient as possible for these guys.

That's the problem with our justice system - even if you're innocent, you can get bled dry just trying to defend yourself. And the person with the most money usually wins. Without public support and fundraising for these cases, these guys would have cried uncle long ago.

I agree. I've placed waypoints on private land before. Get out in the woods and figure out the boundary lines are wrong and then I delete the waypoint.

Plus a trespassing case shouldn't involve seizing someone's phone or GPS for evidence unless the trespassing is somehow linked to something much bigger.

This case really highlights the powerful elites controlling such ridiculous stuff.
