Hey there, I stumbled upon this post and thought it'd be a good idea to chime in and revive the while thread. I do a few things to bring in some extra income. I freelance write and tutor, as well as do a bit of coding on the side.
Sorry for joining the discussion so late, but I'd like to share some ideas. It's always a good idea to have some extra income for a rainy day, and I totally understand the struggle of figuring out what to do. As for hunting-related side hustles, have you thought about selling handmade hunting gear or offering guided hunting tours?
My wife is going to take over her girl friends businesses in the next couple years. I will be helping as well as charging her rental of my work shop floor space. Of course, i have to get it built in the next year....right after i do what work is needed to sell my parents house I need my employer to RIF me out ASAP!
So, funny story. My uncle is big into fishing and turned that passion into a side gig. He basically fixes up old fishing rods and resells them online. It got me thinking about my vinyl record collection that's just sitting in my basement. I figured, why not try and make some extra cash off it? I started selling them online and to my surprise, it’s been working out pretty well. I'd never thought those dusty LPs would attract such a crowd!
I coach volleyball. It's 8 months out of the year and I made a whopping $500. Sent from my Pixel 6 using Tapatalk
Since you mentioned hunting as a bonus, how about leveraging your love for the great outdoors? If you have decent photography skills or enjoy writing, you could explore freelance opportunities in outdoor and hunting-related niches.
