Horrible roads, not a bad trip traffic was light, got to the airport and thru security easy. Did my least 2 favorite airports in 1 day. Detroit and Atlanta.
So this one is on me a bit, but still. Had a doctor appointment and showed up without a mask. Staff was cool about it and gave me one, but, wow, the looks I got when I walked in. I was nowhere close to anyone, but the absolute disdain I was getting was amazing. People suck.
Apparently our state took off the mandate but all medical did not. Had a nurse tell me that those ppl. you see driving alone with masks on are probably medical workers. They have them on so long they literally forget they are there...I told her I'd literally would suffocate.
Yeah there's no mandate here either, but most medical facilities are hanging on to the policy like a hair in a biscuit.

Sounds like I get to get home early Saturday morning and get a few hours of strung out sleep before I have to fire up the GD snowblower. Dogs are headed to their grooming apointment so will get 3-4 hours of serenity at least.
Why when you are in areas in the south every other commercial is for a personal injury lawyer? Is it some kind of southern lottery?

Ya that is what I was thinking when I buried the old Escape on County road 7 trying to get home. I just want to get home. Nothing a half hour of shoveling in the wind and cold couldn't fix. God this winter just won't quit. Wife is stranded in Devils Lake with my truck due to the conditions. I am so over winter.
If you are good at doing something... don't tell anyone. I have three vinyl flooring, big projects to do now. Boss wants one done. Son wants one done. The wife is giving me cr@p for the one she wants done. I just want to retire, run trail cameras and go bowhunting.
My gut has been awful for the last 2 weeks, just sucked having a puss gut using public bathrooms etc. Got up and had my usual breakfast and relief finally so nice the flare up appears to be over.
