I used a nose button for 2 years. Don't really need it if your using a peep sight. I took off the peep and just used a nose button as a contact point. I actually had a loss of accuracy at farther distance. Went back to the peep this year and fixed most problems I had. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Peep and nose on string, tried the nose button and Didn’t like it. As far as Bowmar tape it’s just rebranded lizard skin. Go to sporting goods store and buy lizard skin and have at it. I like it for a bow that shoots off riser.

I don't use the nose button, but for years used my own version of it. I just tie a tiny ball of serving thread onto the string where my nose contacts the string. This alternative to a kisser button is absolutely legit. I have been watching quite a bit of the indoor shoots, Lancaster and Vegas and I see a lot of shooters using them.
I shot a nose button for a couple of years, and overall I like it. I haven't put one on my Phase 4 and honestly haven't noticed a difference in my shooting.
I know you shoot a thumb button and I believe you can get a much more solid and consistent anchor with one compared to a wrist strap. You're probably really good on your anchors. Those of us still rocking wrist straps and if your like me and forget all things archery some times when shooting a deer... i'll take every reference i can get... lol
I don't use an anchor with my release hand - although I probably should. It's just tough when you have a glove and/or a face mask on. Peep and touching nose to string is all I use. The nose button is nice since it provides additional feedback to ensure you're in the right spot at the moment of truth, but it's not entirely necessary. And they cost way too much for what they are. Every time I had to order one it pissed me off.
I use the nose button to be able to shoot 30" draw and still touch my nose to the string without dipping my head.
Yeah, having a draw length that's longer than 30", and a lack of flag ship bows that go past that. I add a longer loop, and the large nose button allows me to still make contact with my nose.
