I've had a s&w shield 9 and now have g19 and g48 I carry. Got rid of the sheld cause for whatever reason didn't shoot it as good. Don't have huge hands by no means but didn't like how small it was and the shorter barrel. Thats when picked up the g48. Capacity is same for both if you get the aftermarket mags for the 48 made by shield arms. I'm not real concerned with capacity tho so use standard 10 rd most time with the 48.

Use bravo concealment holster for both inside and outside wb.

I have the tarus g2s and a alien gear holster that can be changed from inside waistband to outside that I really like. As long as I’m wearing a longer shirt that’s isn’t super thin nobody knows.

Do you have the 9 or the 40? How does it shoot?

I have the 9mm G2, shoots great, have 15 shot aftermarket mags for it, extends the room for my pinky...

    from pg 1 ...
I use a Bulldog retention paddle holster for my Taurus G2when walking/scouting ... but for CC, I use a Alien Gear SOB holster.. conceals perfectly in the small of my back/right side .. i dont care for inside waist band/front ...

also have a Taurus 66+ Stainless .357/6"/7 shot ... great shooter and very accurate to 50 yds, just to heavy to walk around with when I'm scouting

I wear hoodies year round front conceal works for me I think, but I am willing to practice. Easier to conceal removing the hand gun from the holster in front?

I am considering a small lightweight .38 special +p, maybe internal hammer that I can pocket in a jacket/coat, speed loader in the other pocket (say hello to my little friend) ...

I had an old Colt 32 pocket pistol, wish I had not sold that.

Can't believe Walther PDP hasn't been brought up. You can get any version right down to compact at 4 inch. Base price is cheap and the name is elite.

I am gonna disagree.. I prefer the hellcat… better trigger. Also my 365 was early model and lacks tritium sights. That said there are far more holster options for the 365 (although most, but not all, holsters that are meant for the 365 work just fine for the hellcat).

If you’re gonna go James Bond style I’d recommend the M&P 22 compact with a Dead Air Mask HD Supressor.

It’s James Bond movie quiet and you don’t even need to track down subsonic 22 ammo (pretty much all 22 ammo is subsonic out of a pistol length barrel with CCI velocitor and CCI stinger being the exception). It’s my go to for open carry while walking the dog and it singlehandedly caused the extinction of the striped skunk on the local golf course.

If you like leather lined kydex, check out the Silent Thunder GO2 IWB from giholsters for the hellcat.

I have quite a few but find myself going back to the Glock 19 when I’m wearing heavier clothes, and the Glock 43 when it’s T-shirt and shorts weather. The only thing I’ve done to them is upgraded to Trijicon HD sights on both.

They aren’t pretty but they go bang every time and I just seem to point a Glock and get on target better/faster than anything else I’ve shot.

I’ve also gone through a lot of holsters and have finally settled on crossbreed IWB for all the pistols I carry. They are comfortable, easy to conceal, and do a great job retaining the pistol while still having it accessible and easy to draw.

Well I ended up with a Glock 43x. Now it's trying to figure out what holster to get.
