The 2022-2023 Bowhunting.Com Deer Hunting Contest officially ended at midnight last night. For a while it was touch and go and we had a close race between a few teams but as the season's end approached Team 8 - In Early, Out L8, captained by @entropyfx pulled ahead and established a lead that no one could overcome. They ended the season with a final count of 7 bucks and 7 does for a total score of 1182. The returning Champions, Team 12, tried hard to defend their title and kept them from feeling too comfortable with their lead but fell short in the end with a final count of 6 bucks and seven does for a total score of 1010 1/8. Team 5 also really gave them a run for their money. Their season ended with a final count of 7 bucks and 5 does for a total score of 1009 2/8, only a single point out of second place. It was a fantastic season and I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. Please join me in congratulating Team 8 on their victory. They hunted hard and are very deserving of the win. Congratulations Team 8! Great job guys!

Congrats again to team 8! I also want to echo Fletch in thanking Johnny for an outstanding job running the entire thing. Just putting up with yahoo's like me throughout the season deserves a commendation medal. Ha! Till next season ladies and gentlemen. 7 months away!
LC.. big thanks for doing a bang up job running this deal. Not sure how you do it with all the tree stand time you put in. Fletch.. Congratulations Team 8! Though we tried our hardest on Team 12 we just came up a few deer short. Was fun while it lasted, and looking forward to helping another team out in 2023 to try and dethrone the new champs. For now... enjoy the win and the swag and we will see you again in the fall
in ship, captain , crew “8 dont skate” but in the contest they did. Congrats 8 and wow how close it was. 12 didnt want to give up on that 3 peat. What a season. Another congrats to everyone that filled a tag or at least got to get out and enjoy themselves this year. We truly take for granted how good we have it.
