It works great! Easy arrow removal yet also stops them no problem.

That's awesome! I was thinking of using cardboard like kennyg said but I have a bunch of extra carpet for a recent replacement too. What are the dimensions?

I'll check when I get home. But for now... I think the actual carpet is 27"x9"

Thanks! I was wondering how thick it was to ensure stopping arrows!

I'm sure it could be thinner strips, you'd just have to compress the carpet more.

Carpet targets are awesome!! Mine is 48"x36"X11". It is 5 years old now and sits outside year round. Still stops arrows like it did when new. I'll never buy another target.

I've been using mine for only about a week but have noticed the rough bottom of the carpet taking the finish off my arrows.

Did you fasten the carpet together top and bottom? I thought I read on here some place to hang the carpet fastened at the top only. By allowing it to swing free when the arrow hits absorbs a lot of the impact. Have you tried broadheads on it yet?

Be carefull if you leave it outside. Yellow Jackets and hornets love to make nest in those targets.
