Hoping I'll get in the stand one day after work this week. Traveled back to Maryland yesterday and headed back home to South Carolina today. Next weekend I have to go to Georgia for the wife's family Christmas. But I'll be able to be out Christmas eve and the day after Christmas. My season ends on the 1st of the year. going to give it all I've got for the few remaining days that I have left for the season.

Got out of work around 2 PM yesterday and was able to sit from 3 til dark. Saw three doe on the other side of the field. Gonna have to up my layering game. I was definitely under prepared for the weather. Heading back out this weekend.

Looks like I'll get all of Saturday and Sunday morning to hunt that buck I'm after. Mathematically we need a couple decent bucks and a doe to win this, or a decent buck and 2 or 3 does. Kind of an uphill battle now.

Well men, I couldn't get it done on a buck. Today may have been my last hunt for the season. Between family and the distance to where I hunt, it's gonna be really difficult for me to make it back out. Hate I couldn't contribute a buck to the team. Just sucks.

I hunted twice this weekend. Had a doe walk up behind me and bust me. Nothing on day two. Getting cold out there for sure. I'm continuing to grind it out. I'll be out tomorrow afternoon.

Sadly, I think we're done Fix. Had a good chance (and still do) but once someone shoots a buck, it seems that there ain't much interest in going out for a doe.
I'll be out tomorrow for sure! Just need to put my summer camo away and pull out the cold weather gear. They are calling for the temp to be 6 degrees after wind chill. Also I'll be headed out to some public land on Monday morning if all goes well. The wife is bugging me to get another deer.
