    Deer are worn out from the rut and pressure. Unless one hunts in a great buck to doe ratio area, those bucks are down for the count and chilling

    Sat in a stand this morning that I haven't sat yet this year.
    Deer trails pounded. Didn't see a thing.
    Opening of muzzelgun. Didn't hear a shot and it dead calm.

    Nothing for me. Time to pack up and head back east to the house. Good luck out there. Not sure when I'll get to hunt again. Hasn't been my year for bucks.

    Mine showing same. It has to break loose again just a matter of time. I know 2 of 3 of our big ones are dead so hoping my buddies connect with the last one or some unknown shows up

    I’m obviously bored outa my mind, everyone I know is hunting today and I’m at home fulfilling my duties. I’ll be on stand all day Monday and Tuesday for Ohio gun opener. Looking forward to getting after it with a gun in hand.
