    Allen wants a ring more than he wants his longevity. One gets stats, the opposite wins rings.

    Jackson is going to end up the same way with the Ravens. I'll put money on Jackson getting his record contract and then relapsing or trying to prove too hard he deserved it and rips a knee next year.

    Hate it for any player at any position, but some try too hard for their own good.

    Love this. I am only a casual fan and really just started watching more football because I know TJ. I never did understand how a grown-a** man could throw a temper tantrum and let the results of a game that he did not even play in ruin his day or week. I coached Little League for 12 years and some of the things I saw there from the father's still haunt me. Sports definitely have their place, but you might want to check your life goals if you know more details about your favorite quarterback than you do your own kid. Sounds like you do a good job of keeping it in perspective as it should be.

    The Lions are proof that you can throw a lot of money at something and it will still fail without the right processes in place. And, doing the same thing with that money over and over to expect a different result is the definition of insanity. Your son, like Einstein, already has that figured out. Sounds like you have raised a pretty smart little Republican. :evilgrin:
