Hell yeah Brett!!! Congratulations! As the guy running the contest I have to ask, is there someone who can take pics of you? Those pics will work in a pinch but better ones would make my job a little easier, especially since you’re on my team.
Finally got down to my Kentucky lease to scouts and gun hunt. Was definitely different hunting the Appalachians lol. Hiked up 500 feet of elevation and found good sign including this nice six point. Fun hunt on the ground and shot him in bow range as he came up behind me. Exciting hunt for sure! Now I can get back to Wisconsin and get the team and Ty that promised doe lol. Well after our gun season that is lol. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I apologize for the delay & crappy pictures but today was crazy…I left the house at 1330 & shot her at 1425 I drug her a very short distance so the retrieval with the ranger could be easier I then Took 4 quick pictures Went & picked up the granddaughter from school (she’s 6) at 1525 & then my wife called & advised her late afternoon client cancelled & so instead of being home at 2030 she was home at 1645 & wanted to run to Costco….hence I returned to the deer at 1846 hours, cleaned her & loaded her into the truck Got home now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congratulations Zach! Since you’re in Kentucky I’d guess that’s a tobacco leaf but there aren’t any tobacco fields in the woods.
Congrats! And good job on getting us some points!! Also congrats to Zach. That country looks absolutely amazing. Now, if Ty would just kill a deer.
By the way Brett, are you sure you don’t want to give Kentucky a shot? It’s only two hours from here.
I’m sure I either have court, dinner with clients, a retirement party to attend or old neighbors staying with us the first week in December Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
A buck, I've already killed the elusive antlerless deer which I've heard in Wisconsin are dang near impossible to kill! Right @Team Haastyle LOL
