Congratulations again on keeping after him. Especially after what was going on at home. Prayers for your daughter. Hope she gets well soon.

Excellent job the last 2 days entro. Home, family and the woods. If you need any help with scoring let us know. Be glad to answer any question that might pop up. From the pics I saw over at Lfts my guest is he is 130 or close to it.

Truck is loaded and I will be headed out to Ohio later this morning. Calling for 1 - 2 inches of rain out there today. I'll be on stand tomorrow morning. Good luck this weekend team.

Looking at the time stamp it's not long after last light. He has to be bedding close by.

Wet cold melt on contact snow all morning. Saw big boy at 7:40 walking out from under my favorite stand. Of course I was playing the wind and was 500 yds away. Watched him run over a mile before he slowed down. It's a big river bottom.

Probably wouldn't have seen him at all if I was in that stand.

When you think you have it figured out they just flat out humble ya!

Isn’t that the truth. They don’t get that big by being stupid. That’s why it’s so rewarding when you finally out smart them.

    Congrats entro!!! Beautiful buck.

Sorry I've been MIA. Lots going on at home and haven't had much time to hunt. Things are finally clearing up and second time I've hunted my lease. Sitting all day. Lots of does and a couple small bucks moving by my cameras.

Good luck if you are hunting.

33 degrees this morning with light snow. Just feels like it should be a good morning.

So close... Had him at 40 tonight and I had my back to him. He saw me an bound off 40 yards and only gave me his head to shoot at. Turned and walk straight away from me. Gave me a Texas heart shot at 70 but that's not the way I want to try and kill him. While he crossed exactly where I thought he would; I was standing up watching a doe and another buck walking the field edge toward me. I'm hunting off the ground because I'm an old turd and tree stands are getting harder to deal with!

    Cuss words were spoken..

Saw 3 other deer beside the ones mentioned above

Gonna give him a break in that area for a couple days. Plan to head over this evening and hunt the green wheat field right before dark. Maybe just maybe he will be over there checking does that feed in it. It's the only field in the area for 2 miles that has greens to eat this time of year. My own 15 acre food plot thanks to early harvest and the farmer that leases the ground putting it in back in October.
