There is a possibility I'll be in a stand this Sunday evening. North wind predicted which is an ok wind for the same set up I killed on last year from the same spot on the same date. Wouldn't that be crazy?

Left my house at 245 this morning and I'm sitting in a hell of a good stand in Buffalo County. Going for big points the next few days.

    Good luck Tom.
I've watched 20+does this morning come through.
    Not one buck?

I haven’t even been seeing deer in fields on way to and from work, or barely any on side of road

Internet service was not good. I saw 5 does this morning then a little buck at noon. The neighbor decided to site in his muzzleloader below me and shot for 1 1/2 hours. I didn't see another deer after that. It was a long Fing day.

I'm headed to Missouri in the morning. Not sure if I'll do all 800 miles straight but gonna try. Really want to hunt Sunday eve.
Hope the next few days are better Lester.
BnB...easy on the cold beers in that warm weather. Ha!

Back home from camp. Not one shooter in an entire week…tonight I think I might have been the closest I’ve been so far. Set up on a fresh fresh scrape. Right at dark heard him coming. Then I just didn’t. Thought to myself that maybe he walked on by up the hill so I’d grunt once to see what happens. Probably 20 minutes of legal left. Grunt. And an almost immediate blow lol. It was a little open in the woods where I was. I honestly think he came to the edge of a pine thicket and just stood there and scanned before he entered the woods. It was completely my fault and lesson learned. Gonna take a little breather ha. Might get back out Tuesday morning after work.

I think I'm gonna bail on my vacation "rutcation".
I'm not far from Canada and temps are forecasted to be 60's maybe 70 till Thursday. I have no desire to attempt that.
Will most likely go back and work Monday _Thursday.

Probably going to attempt one of my best spots tonight. Haven’t even stepped in there for couple months. It’s a stand between 2 major doe bedding areas. If anything it’s an opportunity to get my set hung in there. Cams have just showed young bucks checking it out unless mature ones are using different approach but I doubt it based on years prior history

Warm here too and is supposed to be all week. I'm still toast from driving yesterday, so I'm not getting in the woods today. I'll probably do a few evening hunts this week tho. Hard to get fired up in 65 degree weather.
