Checking in since this damn apps don't notify me when people post very frustrating. Never use to be this way. Anyways I been on vacation since Wednesday and I have next week off too. I'll be chasing some horns and definitely hope I can do that sooner than later so I can save vacation days...hope everyone is having luck and seeing deer. It's been pretty dead wherever I go..definitely hoping things pick up soon!

Got most of my gear staged and ready to head to KY. I plan to be hunting at least 7 days out on public land. 2 of us going with kayaks. Stoked for a great trip.

Yea. I did not get to go last year so it has been 2 years since I went. Weather looks warm there for the first week of November but I wouldnt imagine it would stop deer movement for the pre rut.

It's pouring rain here so I'm headed in to check one of my cameras. I've been hunting a certain buck based on the size of these rubs I found 6 weeks ago but I have never seen him. I am hoping to Catch one picture of him so I know I am not hunting a ghost.

This is hilarious. Drove 30 minutes and The camera wasn't turned on. No pictures and soaking wet.

Haha. I know the size of the rubs means he is a tall racked buck. Be neat to see him.

^Oh hey, reminds me...I graduated from PT a week or two ago. No arm pain any longer from my pinched nerve/disc problem.

Good luck on the foot appt.

B2H, I hate when that happens. I was onto a nice buck and had that happen last year. I had that sucker dialed and some dude got lucky when the buck got up to check some does.

ps. Found a pic of the Buck I was chasing. Different class, but a fine NC public land deer…[IMG]

No planter fasciitis, he believes I have a stretched ligament. Just about healed. Dr gave a prescription of steroids, to alleviate inflammation in the foot. Dr said it takes about 2 months to heal. It's been 2+ months. Feeling better thou. Sweet November tomorrow.

Well I took a bad fall down the big hill today and smashed my 5 yr old sight. Nothing I can do to make it work. Shooting 6 inches to the left. So tomorrow I have to get a new sight and dial it in. Dude. What a hell of a day.
